Painting "Temple Road"

I painted this scene of Kanchipuram in India, on a busy road leading to the temple. It was from a high vantage point. As I love painting architecture, this was something I had wanted to do. I put is a few people in the foreground and many in the distance. It was important to separate the shadows on the left from the bright light falling on the right side of the foreground.
