Realism Live 2021






I attended Realism Live 2021 organized by Eric Rhoads and Streamline Publishing Inc. in November 2021. Attendees were present online from about 25 countries and the faculty was stellar. I learned so much from teachers like Quang Ho, Kevin Macpherson, Mary Whyte, Todd Casey, Jeff Legg and many renowned names in various media and realistic styles. Above are a few of the paintings and drawings I did, each in about 80 minutes during the demonstrations. Attending online conferences like this 2021 event, Realism Live 2020, Watercolor Live 2021 has given me the opportunity to improve my drawing and painting skills, interact with artists from all over the world and keep focused on my art during the pandemic. I also watched Streamline art Videos' presentations of their daily video segments from March 2020 till the middle of 2021, when they ended. Artists were present to answer the questions of artists like me who were viewing it online. Many of us formed strong links and decided to create the Dreamlineartists group on Facebook where we connect to share our work and support each other. The group has over 1500 members and many of them took part in this online event, so it was a meeting of friends, while watching or painting with the faculty.
